HOW RELIABLE IS GOOGLE TRANSLATE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSLATION SOFTWARE?

Short answer: it is not. Besides the fact that Google Translate doesn’t offer Ancient Greek or Old English translations, we are yet to see a correct Latin translation coming out of Google or any other automatic translator. In our experience, this kind of software is still unable to render even the simplest sentences from and into these languages without resulting in garbled nonsense. Even for single words, in those rare cases in which they get the meaning right, they fail to provide the correct grammatical form.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER TRANSLATION AGENCIES?

Few other agencies offer translations for these languages, and as far as we know, almost none of them are specialized sites that count on the experience of a dedicated expert. We frequently get contacted by translation companies that require our services to help them with complicated projects on the field.
